So you’ve heard all about A Date 2 Remember. You visited our Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages, checked out the bachelors and bachelorettes, and maybe attended a Reveal Party or two. And now you find yourself thinking, “I may actually want to go and bid on some of this stuff.”
Like most everything in life, a little bit of preparation can improve your chances of coming away from the D2R ’13 auction with your ideal date experience package. But there are some dos and don’ts in the rally for that prized possession. To give you the best shot at holding up the winning paddle after all the holding and folding, we’re passing along some auction advice in the next week from the man calling all of the action, our auctioneer Larry Woods.
There are some tricks to the auction trade so stay tuned for our “Larry’s Auction Advice” series starting here soon on the D2R ’13 Blog as we head down the final stretch to this year’s charity fashion show and date auction benefiting City Year Columbus and United Way of Central Ohio.
Before we get started with the series, here is the complete list of the date experience packages up for bid. We are fine tuning some details, but this rundown should give you a clear idea of what to expect on February 23. Our packages generally go for anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to a few thousand dollars, so there is an ensemble that fits every interest – and budget.
